RA aka kuli

RA? ape tu RA. RA stand for research assistant. kalau sapa-sapa yg tak tau apa job description sebenar-benar nya RA tu boleh la aku bgtau serba ringkas. RA ni biasanya  utk student yang dah habis belajar n nak cari pengalaman kerja sementara dapat kerja atau orang yang nak sambung master. tapi bagi aku yg dah kerja RA ni lebih dari setahun tapi tak sambung-sambung gak master. bz sangat.

 Handle and protect confidential and sensitive data with integrity.
 Manage data collection projects by meeting paper and electronic mailing deadlines,
entering data, transcribing tapes and handwritten notes; learn and use technology to do
these tasks more efficiently.
 Assist staff in design and maintenance of online surveys and relational databases; this
frequently involves use of Inquisite and Microsoft Access.
 Prepare print documents, web pages, and other graphics using Word, Dreamweaver, and
illustration packages.
 Assist staff in writing code and analyzing data in SPSS and Stata statistical packages.
 Assist staff and clients in the design, execution and evaluation of research projects,
including literature reviews, surveys, focus groups, data integration and analysis.
 Produce written, tabular and visual materials for research reports and presentations in
Tableau.
 Assist staff in logistical management of the Center, including acquisition of supplies,
inventory management, bookkeeping and strategic planning.

tapi aku rasa lebih dari ni aku pernah buat. dari kerja yang paling bawah sampai la tahap yg ada degree ni.

owhh i really hope i could find a better job someday. its not that i dont do it sincerely but it just i dont feel secure because this job is based on grant money that my supervisor get from university in a period of time. and as far as i concern many private company didn't recognize RA as a job.owhh no no!! its that mean my 1year + work experience wasted?? i hope not. lets pray for the better future. insyaAllah
